My Daily Bible is a Bible verse app. It serves up a daily verse and sorts hundreds of others into categories by mood and occasion: healing, grief, anger, worry, gratitude, and so on.
You browse the categories, save your favorites, and share verses by message or straight to social media. There is a top ten list voted on by other users, and everything works offline, so it does not matter if you are somewhere without a signal. It runs on iPhone and iPad.
The categories are the real feature. When a friend is grieving, you do not want to scroll through a whole Bible app hunting for the right passage. You want the handful of verses that speak to that moment, and this puts them in one place. I have used it the way some people use a card shop: looking for the right words when mine fall short.
Good fit for anyone who likes a daily verse on their phone, or who often texts Scripture to family and friends going through something. It is also simple enough for an older parent who does not want a complicated app.
It is a verse app, not a Bible. You get selected passages without the surrounding chapters, and it is not a Catholic app. The developer is an independent German programmer, not a religious publisher, and the verse selection has a general Protestant flavor. The misspelling in the App Store title ("Dialy") tells you polish is not the priority here.
