I can highly recommend this for any Christian parent with little ones. You collect jewels and tokens as you go through the bible story.

The artwork is engaging and it has great vibrant colours. The stories are simplified, so it isn’t difficult to understand. put this app together, it’s from YouVersion in partnership with OneHope as part of their scripture outreach.

It is interactive! Touching on animals, or people gives reactions. I have this on my iPad, and it filled the screen with all of the greatest stories. The stories are narrated and also written out, so that it helps kids to read, at least for sight words, like Jesus, God, and more. What an excellent full feature app.

There are many, many stories to download. Covering all of major stories, and going beyond the resurrection and inviting children to take an active part in God’s plan for their lives.

This isn’t an app that goes into specific catholic teachings on things like Eucharist or confession, but is is an app that will engage children in an active way to present the bible, and the gospel message of how Jesus was sent to save us, and invites us to go deeper in a relationship with him.

This would be a great app for post Christmas, or even post Advent and Lent follow up.

I would even give as a pre-installed app on a child’s device. Advent, Christmas, or really any time of the year is a great time to get kids engaged into the bible, and develop an interest in scripture. Kids will be thrilled.
