There is nothing else to clutter your view, distract you or get in the way. They are simply, and elegantly presented to you. The readings are stored locally, so you are not just linking into a website page view like other apps, these daily readings are on your device, with or without data or wifi.
There is a great calendar view that allows you to select a specific date, as well as a listing of significant dates in the liturgical year, like the 2018 date for Ash Wednesday, Easter, feast days and more.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column css=”.vc_custom_1537296943235{margin-top: 20px !important;margin-right: 0px !important;margin-bottom: 20px !important;margin-left: 0px !important;border-top-width: 1px !important;border-right-width: 0px !important;border-bottom-width: 1px !important;border-left-width: 0px !important;padding-top: 20px !important;padding-right: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 20px !important;padding-left: 0px !important;border-left-color: #dbdbdb !important;border-left-style: solid !important;border-right-color: #dbdbdb !important;border-right-style: solid !important;border-top-color: #dbdbdb !important;border-top-style: solid !important;border-bottom-color: #dbdbdb !important;border-bottom-style: solid !important;}”][ultimate_heading main_heading=”Daily Catholic Readings!” main_heading_style=”font-weight:bold;” margin_design_tab_text=””][/ultimate_heading][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Using the Daily Mass Readings in prayer can be a bit of a chore when you don’t have a missal handy. For this app, I simple ask Siri “Open Daily Readings” and up it comes, with todays readings. It would be great if Siri would read them to me, but I thin that is asking a a bit much.
You can’t select, and copy the text either, which is fine, it is just for reading. You can double tap on any word and ask for a definition. The iOS dictionary in iOS 9 is pretty good. For example double tapping on Solomon, and asking for a definition, it brought up what most dictionaries would have on ‘Solomon’.
Daily Mass Readings 2018 also incorporates a guide on the books of the Bible and their abbreviations. That’s handy, because I always get a bit confused with DT, MN, JDT, this is handy, and just as simply presented.
Daily Readings is your every day mobile guide for the Catholic Mass readings. The app contains the complete readings for the year 2018; presented daily in an easy to read text and easy to use UI!
So if you are looking for the Catholic daily mass readings, look no further than this iOS app (also on Android). It’s beautiful, simple, and not distracting, and they are always on your iPhone or iPad. Check it out, it’s FREE!

Hi, is there an app that will bring up the daily audio and video meditation for the reading of th day. Thank you.
There are a number of sources that provide audio and video. I haven’t encountered one within an app. There are podcasts available, have you looked into those?
How do I send my comments to the public after the daily readings ?.
