la Sainte Bible en français is a free French Bible app made by Axeraan Technologies, a developer that puts out generic Bible apps in many languages. It is clean, it works offline, and it has a few extras like reading plans and quizzes.
The core is a French Bible you can read or listen to with audio narration. There is a daily verse, bookmarks, highlights, a small Bible dictionary, and a feature to turn verses into shareable images for social media. Reading plans take you through the Bible or a portion of it on a schedule. The quiz mode tests you on what you have read — basic, but it works.
The translation here is not a Catholic edition. The developer does not specify which French version they use, but it appears to be a public-domain Protestant translation, most likely Louis Segond or a derivative. There are no Deuterocanonical books, so Tobit, Wisdom, Sirach, Baruch, 1 and 2 Maccabees, and the longer Esther and Daniel readings are missing. For Catholic readers, that is the main thing to know.
