3.8/5The short version
Colourful illustrations point to a Bible person, place or story, from Noah's Ark to King Solomon, in this picture-guessing game. Light fun for families and a nudge for rusty memories, but it's a general Christian game with coin purchases, not a Catholic one.

Bible Quiz is a guessing game built around pictures. You are shown a colorful illustration, and you work out which Bible person, place, or story it points to. Get it right and you move on to the next one.
The illustrations cover a wide range — Adam and Eve, Noah's Ark, King Solomon, and plenty more. Each level gives you a picture clue and asks you to name what it is showing. It is simple to pick up, and you can play in short bursts without needing to read anything long.
What I appreciate is that it leans on the actual stories rather than vague religious feelings. If you know your Bible, you will move quickly. If you are rusty, the pictures jog your memory, and you end up recalling stories you had not thought about in years. For me that is the real value, the way it nudges old Sunday-school memories back to the surface.
Good for families with kids who like a game on the tablet, and good for adults who want something light to keep their Bible knowledge sharp. It works well in a waiting room or in the few minutes before bed.
It is a game, not a study tool. It will not point you to chapter and verse, and there is no Catholic angle to the questions. They are general Bible facts, which is fine, but do not look for the deuterocanonical books or anything specifically Catholic. The developer, Handtechnics, is a general game studio, not a faith publisher.
Free on the App Store: Bible Quiz – Fun Word Games. A pleasant way to keep the stories fresh, especially with children.
