Each story is hand-illustrated, voiced, and broken into short scenes that children tap through. The animations have personality — there is a little humor, a lot of warmth, and the artwork is genuinely lovely. Touching objects on the screen triggers extra animation, hidden facts, and small puzzles. Each story ends with a few simple questions that help kids remember what they just heard. The app is fully free, with no ads and no in-app purchases, and the catalog covers Creation, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Jonah, the life of Christ, and the Resurrection, with more stories added over time.

What I have always appreciated about this app is the production quality. Most Catholic families have probably handed a tablet to a small child for ten minutes during a long car ride.
