Prayers for the Sick

Prayers for the Sick is a small app that does one thing. It holds five short prayers for healing and keeps them ready on your phone.

The five prayers ask for healing, strength, and the restoration of body and mind. You swipe to move between them, and you can share any of them with a tap to send to a friend or family member.

It is plain and it is brief, and that is fine. When someone you love is in a hospital bed, having a few good prayers ready to read matters more than any feature list. You open it, you pray, you hand the phone to the person in the next chair.

This is a good fit for visiting the sick, praying quietly at a bedside, or sending a prayer to someone going through treatment when you do not have the words yourself.

It is exactly five prayers and nothing more, so do not expect a full devotional. The prayers are general Christian rather than distinctly Catholic — there is no mention of the saints, the Anointing of the Sick, or Marian prayers — and the developer is independent.
