Getijdengebed is a Dutch-language Liturgy of the Hours app for Roman Catholics. The name is just the Dutch word for the Divine Office — the daily prayer of the Church prayed at set hours.
The app gives you the Hours laid out for each day: Office of Readings, Lauds, Daytime Prayer, Vespers, and Compline. The texts are in Dutch and follow the Roman Catholic liturgical calendar. It pulls in the proper psalms, antiphons, readings, and intercessions for each hour. There is no audio and no English. It is plain text and quick to load.
If you pray the Liturgy of the Hours in Dutch — whether you are a religious, a deacon, or a layperson trying to keep the rhythm of the Church's prayer — this fills a real gap. Most Hours apps default to English or Latin. Having the Dutch breviary on your phone, properly ordered for the day, is a small thing that matters if Dutch is your prayer language.
