Life Bible App, which used to be called the Tecarta Bible, is a Bible reading app built around daily habits, a verse of the day, devotionals, and reading plans.
You open it to a verse of the day and a short daily devotion. From there you can read the Bible in a range of translations, follow a reading plan, or tap a verse to see an explanation or compare it across versions. There is a library of study Bibles, commentaries, and devotionals, some free and some sold as add-ons. You can build your own reading plan if the ready-made ones do not fit.
The daily rhythm is the strong part. A verse and a short reflection waiting for you in the morning is a low bar to clear, and on the busy days that may be the only Scripture you get to. The compare and explain tools are handy when a verse trips you up and you want a plain-language nudge.
It is good for someone building a daily Bible habit, for the morning coffee reading, and for anyone who likes choices in translations and study notes.
You should know this is not a Catholic app. The developer, Tecarta, is a general Bible software company, and the default translations and devotionals come from a Protestant background. The version list does not include a proper Catholic Bible with the deuterocanonical books, and the commentaries are not written from a Catholic view. Use it for the daily habit, but lean on a Catholic source for doctrine.
