This is a Bible app built around the New King James Version. You get the full text on your phone, whether you are online or not.
All 66 books are available offline. There is a verse to start your day, quick navigation by chapter and verse, audio so you can listen instead of read, and the usual study extras like bookmarks, notes, highlights, and sharing. You can change the font, switch the theme, and turn on night mode.
It is a well-built reader with a lot packed in for a free app, and the rating count tells you plenty of people open it every day. The audio is handy when you would rather listen than read, and the whole thing moves quickly.
It works well for daily reading, looking up a passage in a hurry, or listening through a book on a long drive. The night mode and font controls help if you read in bed or your eyes are not what they used to be.
Here is the part to be clear about. The NKJV is a Protestant translation, and like most Protestant Bibles this is the 66-book canon. That means the seven deuterocanonical books Catholics read, such as Tobit, Wisdom, Sirach, and the books of Maccabees, are not here. The NKJV is a solid, readable translation, but it is not a Catholic Bible, and the developer is an independent maker rather than a Catholic publisher.
