Christian Bible: Hollow Prayer is a daily-verse and Bible app. The odd name aside, what it really does is send you a Bible verse each day over a nice background, with a large pile of quotes, prayers, and short Bible stories to read alongside it.
You get thousands of short Bible quotes sorted into topics, a couple hundred Bible stories told in brief, a set of common prayers, and a stack of backgrounds you can lay a verse on and share. There is a home-screen widget that shows the verse of the day, and daily notifications if you want the reminder.
The verse-on-a-background sharing is the part people actually use. If you are the kind of person who texts a verse to a friend having a hard week, this makes it quick, and the images are tasteful rather than gaudy. The topic sorting is handy too when you want something on patience or grief and do not know where to look.
Good for light daily encouragement, for someone who wants a verse to carry through the day, or for sharing Scripture without hunting around for a graphic. Fine for older kids who respond to a picture more than a plain page.
Worth saying plainly: this is a general, Protestant-leaning Bible app, not a Catholic one. The developer is independent, the Bible text is a standard Protestant canon, and there is nothing here on the sacraments, the saints, or Catholic devotion. The quotes-and-stories framing also leans more inspirational than catechetical, so treat it as encouragement, not teaching.
