The app pulls verses from both Testaments and pairs each one with a stock-style image — sunlight through clouds, a cross on a hill, an open Bible. You get a daily push notification when you set it. The verses are available in 27 languages, which is unusual. You can swipe back to see what you have already received. Shareable image cards are built in for Instagram, Facebook, and the like.
What I appreciate is the simplicity. There is no quiz, no game, no streak, no community feed. Just a verse a day. That is a small, good thing. The image side of it can feel a bit greeting-card, but for someone who likes a visual prompt with their Scripture, it works.
