Shalom Tidings is the reading app from Shalom Media, the Catholic ministry behind Shalom World TV and the Shalom Tidings magazine. It puts the magazine's articles on your phone, free.
You can read articles, bookmark them for later, and share the ones that speak to you. There's a set of prayers for different times of the day, and the Shalom World TV live stream runs 24/7 inside the app, so you can go from reading to watching without switching apps.
The standout is language support. Articles are available in 12 languages, which makes it one of the more useful Catholic reading apps for multilingual families and parishes. Accessibility options let you adjust the reading experience too.
It's a good fit for anyone who likes testimony and spiritual reading in short, magazine-length pieces, and for households where not everyone reads English first. Users rate it 5 out of 5.
Shalom Tidings is free, by Shalom Media USA Inc. Find it on the App Store. For the ministry's video programming, the Shalom World app is the companion.
