What is it about

The Catholic Children's Audiobook app is a comprehensive audio library that provides catechetical instruction and Bible study for the formation of Catholic children. It includes a variety of resources such as "My Bible History" by Bishop Louis Laravoire Morrow, the Baltimore Catechism No. 2, First Communion stories, and numerous short stories designed to teach morals and the truths of the Catholic faith. These audio stories and teachings, from the 1950s, are still relevant today and can be used for education in the Catholic faith, homeschooling, and First Communion preparation. The app can be downloaded for free and offers a few sample audio files before upgrading to the full version. The MP3s are streamed, not downloaded, and a connection is required to play them properly. To own the MP3s and manage them yourself, users can join the download service on the website. If experiencing any issues, the app can be uninstalled and reinstalled without being charged again. App Review

*Get it once in the app store, and will work on both your iPad and iPhone*

An audio library of catechetical instruction and Bible study for the formation of Catholic children. Will work on your iPad as well as your iPhone (see instructions below).

Includes:

  • “My Bible History” by Bishop Louis Laravoire Morrow (1892-1987) - An excellent Old and New Testament bible study for children.
  • Baltimore Catechism No. 2, which includes Catholic prayers.
  • First Communion stories
  • Hundreds of charming short stories designed to teach morals and the truths of the Catholic faith, including the six book "Angel Food" series by Fr. Gerald T. Brennan, two books by Fr. Winfrid Herbst called "Just Stories" and "Tell Us Another", "Good Morning Boys and Girls" by Fr. Thomas Hosty, and "Sunday Morning Storyland" by Fr. Wilfrid Diamond.

These audio stories and teachings are from the 1950’s, and still as relevant today as they were then for education in the Catholic Faith and the moral life. This is also an excellent resource for homeschooling instruction and First Communion preparation. Though geared toward children, adults will find much enjoyment and education from the works in this treasury.

Download the app for free and listen to a few samples before deciding to upgrade to the full version of this audio library.
