Sanctifica is a daily companion built around the Catholic liturgical year. Each day it tells you the saint and the feast, and reads you a short audio narrative on the holy man or woman the Church remembers.
Beyond the daily saint, there is a fair amount packed in. You get an audio recitation of the Rosary in Latin by Bishop Athanasius Schneider, a large collection of traditional, Church-approved novenas organized by intention, and a treasury of Catholic prayers you can search by devotion or need. The prayers come in both written and audio form, so you can read them or listen on the go. The app also flags upcoming novenas on the home screen, so you have time to start one before the feast it leads up to.
What struck me is how much it leans on the older tradition. The Latin Rosary, the traditional novenas, the Mass it points you toward, this is an app made for someone drawn to the Traditional Latin Mass and the devotions that go with it. If that is where your heart is, it will feel like home.
Good for daily prayer, for learning the saints one day at a time, and for anyone who wants the older novenas in one place instead of hunting them down in worn pamphlets. The audio makes it easy to pray during a commute or while the house is quiet.
Worth knowing it carries a traditional bent. If you are looking for the ordinary-form daily readings or a plain three-year-cycle Mass app, this is not built around that. It assumes some comfort with the traditional calendar and devotions.
