Catholic Vietnamese Holy Bible is a free Bible reader with the Catholic canon in Vietnamese, plus a few English Catholic translations and some audio.

You get the full Catholic Bible — Old Testament, New Testament, and the deuterocanonical books that Protestant Bibles leave out (Tobit, Sirach, Wisdom, Baruch, the two books of Maccabees, the longer sections of Daniel and Esther). Several English Catholic translations are also available — the New American Bible, the Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition, and the Douay-Rheims. There's audio for some sections, bookmarks, search, and font controls.

What I appreciate is that it actually delivers a Catholic Bible in Vietnamese, which is harder to find than you'd think. The audio adds another option for older readers, for commuters, or for anyone whose eyesight has started to slip.

Useful in any Vietnamese Catholic household, parish, or RCIA setting. Also a fit for Vietnamese-American families who want their kids to read Scripture in both English and Vietnamese — switching between translations is a few taps.

The interface is plain. It does what it needs to and not much more. There aren't reading plans, daily devotions, or social features. The audio quality varies. And if you don't read Vietnamese, the English translations are the same Catholic editions you can get in many other apps, so this isn't the one to download for English-only reading.
