The short version

Pray a full Rosary each morning with Dr. Mike Scherschligt and Dr. Troy Hinkel of the School of Faith, with a Scripture reading and a short meditation, about twenty minutes in all. Free and a real support if you struggle to pray the Rosary alone, though it's audio only.

Daily Rosary Meditations is the app version of the School of Faith podcast — a daily Rosary you pray along with, hosted by Dr. Mike Scherschligt and Dr. Troy Hinkel. New episodes drop each morning, and you join in.

Each day's session runs about twenty minutes. There is a short Scripture reading, a brief meditation on the day's mystery, and then the full Rosary prayed out loud, decade by decade. You either pray along or sit in the silence between Hail Marys, whichever you need that day. The app stores past episodes, so if you miss a day or want to revisit one, it is all there.

The thing that makes it work is the company. You are not alone with a recording — there are real people praying the same Rosary at the same time across the country, and you can feel that in the way Scherschligt and Hinkel talk. It doesn't feel like content. It feels like a small group that happens to be enormous. For people who struggle to pray the Rosary on their own, that makes a difference.

It works well for the morning commute, the school run, the first cup of coffee, or any morning where pressing play is the only thing keeping you on track. It is also a way for couples or families to pray together — one person hits play, everyone joins in.

It is not a Rosary reference. There is no quick way to just say a decade silently with the text on the screen. The whole app is built around the daily audio. If you want a self-paced Rosary, you want something else. The meditations also lean catechetical rather than mystical, which is useful for daily life but is not a Carthusian retreat.

Free. By the School of Faith, a Catholic lay apostolate based in Kansas. On the App Store: Daily Rosary Meditations. A good way to start the day if you have twenty minutes.
