Divine Mercy OnePray

Divine Mercy OnePray is a small free app with one purpose: to help you pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet. That is the whole app, and it does not try to be anything more.

It walks you through the chaplet step by step, so you always know where you are in the prayer. The developer built it after his own experience with the Rosary, and the app is offered in English, Italian, and Spanish. There is nothing to set up and no account to make. You open it and pray.

I appreciate apps like this that pick one devotion and do it cleanly. The Divine Mercy Chaplet came to us through St. Faustina, and praying it at three in the afternoon, the hour of mercy, is a habit worth keeping. Having a guide on your phone takes away the excuse of not remembering the words.

This is a good fit if you are learning the chaplet for the first time, or if you want a simple prompt to pray it each afternoon. It works well for someone who wants to pray along on a break at work without carrying a card or booklet.

It is a modest app, and you can see that. The design is basic and it has not been updated in some years, so it looks older than newer prayer apps. It does only the one chaplet, so do not expect a full prayer library. For what it sets out to do, none of that gets in the way.

It is free, made by Marco Tomasello. You can find Divine Mercy OnePray on the App Store. A simple, honest tool for a beautiful prayer.
