Evangelizo is a Catholic daily app that brings you the day's Gospel, the Mass readings, the saint of the day, and prayers, in ten languages.

Each day you get the readings for Mass, the Gospel, a commentary from the Church Fathers or a saint, and the life of the saint the Church remembers that day. You can switch the whole thing between French, English, Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, German, Arabic, Italian, Polish, and Armenian, which is rare to find in one place. It is the app side of the long-running Evangelizo daily email service.

The commentaries set it apart. A lot of daily-readings apps stop at the text, but this one pairs the Gospel with words from a saint or Father of the Church, which gives you something to actually chew on. I find that a short, ancient reflection does more for me than a modern paragraph trying too hard to be relevant.

It is good for daily Mass-goers, for keeping up your prayer in another language, and for households where more than one language is spoken.
