His Holy Face is a Catholic devotional app built around the Holy Face of Jesus. It gathers the prayers of that devotion in one place and gives you images to pray with, including the Shroud of Turin.
Inside you will find the Novena to the Holy Face, the Golden Arrow Prayer, the Litany of the Holy Face of Jesus, and the Chaplet of the Holy Face, among others. There is also background on where the devotion came from, so you understand what you are praying and why the Church has held onto it.
The Holy Face devotion is not one everybody grows up with, and I found it worth the time to learn. Sitting with an image of the Lord's face while you pray gives your mind something to rest on instead of wandering. The Golden Arrow Prayer in particular is short enough to carry through an ordinary day.
It suits someone who already keeps a novena or chaplet and wants to add this devotion, or anyone drawn to praying with sacred images. It would also serve well during Lent, when the Passion and the Lord's face are close to the heart of what we are doing.
A couple of things to keep in mind. This is a focused devotional app, so it covers the Holy Face and little else; it is not a general prayer book. It is also a few years old and simple in design, without daily reminders or audio. What it does, it does cleanly.
