Holy Bible Verses: Jesus Daily is a daily inspiration app built around short Scripture verses. It carries more than five hundred verses meant to give you a lift through the day.

You can search the verses, save favorites, share them, and even listen to them read aloud. Around that there is calming background music with a player and a timer, a set of wallpapers you can download, including some Catholic ones, and a collection of short inspirational stories to read. It is part verse app, part quiet-time companion.

The piece I kept coming back to was the audio with the soft music behind it. There are evenings when reading one more thing is the last thing you want, and just hearing a verse while the house settles is enough. Used that way, the app earns its place.

It fits someone who likes a daily verse with a calm, restful feel, who enjoys having Scripture wallpapers on their phone, or who wants something gentle to end the day with. The audio also makes it usable when your eyes are tired or your hands are busy.

Be clear about what it is.
