Holy Catholic Bible゜

Holy Catholic Bible is a free, offline Bible app. You get the Old and New Testaments to read anywhere, plus a handful of extras: audio narration, reading plans, quizzes, a Bible dictionary, and verse images you can share with friends.

The core is the Bible text, available offline once it has downloaded, with audio so you can listen instead of read. There are reading plans to keep you moving through Scripture, a dictionary for looking up unfamiliar terms, short quizzes to test what you remember, and a tool to lay a verse over a background image. You can highlight verses, bookmark chapters, and save your favorites to come back to.

Having the whole Bible offline with audio is genuinely useful. I have leaned on the listening during a long drive when reading was not an option, and it is a comfort to know the text is there even with no signal. The reading plans are the kind of gentle structure that helps if you have always meant to read Scripture straight through but never quite built the habit.

Good for someone who wants a no-cost Bible on their phone, for listening during a commute or while doing chores, and for a person rebuilding a daily Scripture habit who likes a plan to follow rather than a blank page.

Here is where I would be careful. This comes from an independent developer that publishes many look-alike Bible apps in different flavors, so the Catholic label is worth verifying before you rely on it. A true Catholic Bible includes the seven deuterocanonical books, such as Tobit, Wisdom, and First and Second Maccabees; confirm they are present in the edition you download. The quizzes and shareable images also lean toward a general-Christian feel rather than anything distinctly Catholic.

Free, by Axeraan Technologies. Available on the App Store: Holy Catholic Bible. A serviceable free Bible with audio, just check the canon and translation inside before you make it your main one.
