iRosary Classic is exactly what it says: a Rosary on your phone. You see the beads, you tap as you pray, and the app keeps your place through the mysteries.
The app walks you through the Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious, and Luminous Mysteries with the prayers laid out in order. You can pray silently along with the bead counter, or follow the on-screen text. Each mystery has a brief meditation. It is one of the older Rosary apps in the App Store. Clean, no ads, no subscription nag.
What I appreciate is that it does not try to be more than it is. There is no leaderboard, no streak counter, no community feed. It is a Rosary. You open the app, you pray, you close it. That suits how most of us actually pray the beads, in the car, on a walk, before sleep, in the few quiet minutes between things.
Good for anyone who wants to pray the Rosary but can't always have actual beads at hand. Useful for travelers, commuters, people in waiting rooms, and beginners learning the prayers and the order of the mysteries. Older kids learning the Rosary will pick it up quickly.
It is not an audio Rosary. There is no voice praying along with you. If you want to pray with a recorded voice, helpful when you are tired or driving, look at Rosary Army or a similar audio app. The interface is dated, which some people will like and some won't.
