Metanoia Catholic Academy

Metanoia Catholic Academy is the app for an online Catholic formation community of the same name. It is the doorway into Metanoia Catholic's courses, coaching, and community for Catholics who want to grow in their faith and their lives.

Inside, the Academy is organized around growing in spiritual and mental resilience, discovering your gifts, finding your mission, and persevering in what it calls spiritual combat. Membership comes in tiers: a free Basic level with introductory assessments and resources, and a paid Academy+ level that adds workshops, live calls, and discussion boards. The app is also the access point for Metanoia's training and Catholic coaching certification.

What I appreciate is that this is unmistakably Catholic and serious about formation, not a vague self-help product with a cross on it. The language of mission and spiritual combat is drawn from the Catholic spiritual tradition, and the structure points toward real growth rather than a quick feeling of inspiration.

It fits Catholics who want more than a daily devotional, people ready for coaching, courses, and a community walking the same road. It will appeal to those drawn to a disciplined, formation-minded approach, and to anyone considering the coaching certification track.

The caveats are about cost and commitment. The free tier is an introduction; the substance lives behind the paid Academy+ membership, so this is more of an ongoing program than a one-and-done app. It rewards people who will actually engage with the community and the work, and may be more than someone simply wanting a prayer aid is looking for.

Metanoia Catholic Academy is free to start, with paid membership tiers, from Metanoia Catholic, LLC. You can find it on the App Store through Metanoia Catholic Academy. For a Catholic ready to invest in real formation and coaching, it is a strong and faithfully Catholic option.
