Rosario VP

Rosario VP is a Spanish-language app for praying the Holy Rosary. It walks you through the prayers in text or in audio, with Scripture and illustrations for each mystery.

You can follow the beads on screen and read the prayers, or let the audio carry you while you listen to a short Bible verse and look at an image for each mystery. It also gathers other prayers to round out your devotion, and it introduces the Apostolado de la Virgen Peregrina de la Familia, the apostolate behind the app. It is built for praying along, not just reading about the Rosary.

The audio with illustrations is the strong part. Praying the Rosary alone can get mechanical, and having a voice set the pace while a picture gives you something to meditate on helps you actually pray it instead of just saying it. For a Spanish-speaking household this is a natural fit.

Good for Spanish speakers who want to pray the Rosary at home, in the car, or on a walk, and for families who pray together in Spanish. The audio mode also helps anyone still learning the order of the prayers.

What it is not: in English. Everything is in Spanish, so it is only the right pick if that is your language. The design is straightforward rather than slick.

Free, from developer DTI.RC. Available on the App Store: Rosario VP. A solid Spanish-language Rosary companion, especially in audio.
