Scripture Rosary

Scripture Rosary pairs Bible verses with the Rosary. It gathers passages under various topics so you can pray the Rosary with Scripture woven in.

The idea is to combine the words of the Bible with the structure of the Holy Rosary. The verses are organized by theme, so you can bring a particular need or subject to your prayer. It is meant to sit alongside your regular prayer life rather than replace your beads.

Praying the Rosary with Scripture is an old and good practice, close to what the Church means by meditating on the mysteries. Having verses tied to the prayers can help on the days when the Rosary starts to feel like going through the motions, which happens to all of us.

It suits someone who already prays the Rosary and wants to deepen it, or someone in a Bible study who wants to connect their reading to prayer. It would also work for a small prayer group looking for a themed Rosary.

Some honest notes. It is a small, simple app with only a handful of ratings so far, so there is not much of a track record to go on. It costs a dollar, which is minor but worth knowing since most apps in this space are free. The content is Catholic and sound; just know it is modest in scope.

Scripture Rosary is 99 cents, from Gifted Books and Media. You can get it on the App Store. A small, sound aid for anyone who wants to bring more Scripture into the Rosary.
