The Catholic Faith Network is the app for the Catholic TV network of the same name, which broadcasts Mass, programming, and Catholic news out of the Diocese of Rockville Centre in New York and reaches a national cable audience.

The app gives you a live stream of the channel — so you can watch the daily televised Mass, the rosary, news, and original programming on your phone — plus an on-demand library of past episodes. There's a TV schedule, a section for diocesan content, and the option to AirPlay or cast to a TV if you'd rather watch on a bigger screen.

What I appreciate is having a televised Mass available when you can't get to a parish — for a homebound parent, a long hospital stay, a snowed-in Sunday, or someone travelling for work where Mass isn't easy to find. The production is real broadcast quality, not a phone camera in a parish hall.

Good fit for older Catholics who already watch CFN on cable, for anyone homebound, and for parishes that want to point parishioners to a live Mass option during a closure. Also a quiet way to keep some Catholic content playing in the background while you cook or work.

A televised Mass is not the same as being there. You still need to make it to a parish for Sunday obligation when you're able. And the programming has a particular Long Island Catholic flavour — homilies, guests, and local stories from the Diocese of Rockville Centre — which may or may not be what you're after.
