Decision Point is Dynamic Catholic's app version of their Confirmation program for teens. It pairs video sessions, a digital workbook, and supplementary audio so that a teen — or a parish — can work through the same content that's used in many parishes' Confirmation classes.

The core is seventy-two short films, organized into twelve sessions covering the big questions: who is God, what is the Church, why do we receive the Sacraments, how do you actually pray. Each film comes with workbook prompts and a leader guide if you're using it in a group. There are also audio tracks and additional resources stitched in. It's free and built to live alongside the printed Decision Point materials.

What I appreciate is the production quality and the tone. Matthew Kelly and the team don't talk down to teenagers, and they don't pretend Catholic life is easy. They aim for the real question — why bother with any of this — and they answer it without flinching. If you're a parent watching alongside your kid, it's a useful conversation starter.

It works for a few different settings. Parishes can run it as their formal Confirmation prep. A small group of homeschool families can work through it together. A parent and teen can sit on the couch and watch a session, then talk. I've seen it used all three ways. Adults catching up on their own faith will get something out of it too, even though it wasn't built for them.

It's not a standalone catechism, and it's not a replacement for a real catechist or sponsor. The films are short by design — they open doors, they don't try to close them. You still need a person in your kid's life walking them through the harder parts.

Free, from Dynamic Catholic (dynamiccatholic.com), a U.S. lay apostolate. Available on the App Store: Decision Point. If your parish hasn't already adopted it, take a look — it's one of the better Confirmation tools out there right now.
