Santo Catholic App

Santo is a Catholic prayer app that gathers daily prayers and devotions in one place. The idea is simple: keep the prayers you reach for most close at hand on your phone.

Inside you get a daily Rosary you can pray along with, plus a collection of common Catholic prayers offered in several languages. There are devotions for different times and intentions, and the app is set up so you can sit down and pray rather than dig through menus. The multi-language support is the part that stands out, since a lot of prayer apps only do English.

What I like is that it does not try to be a whole Catholic life in one app. It stays focused on prayer. When you open it you are meant to pray, not scroll, and that restraint is worth something on a phone that is always trying to pull your attention somewhere else.

It is a good fit for someone who wants the Rosary and a handful of daily prayers ready to go, and especially for households where more than one language is spoken. It is simple enough for a child learning the prayers and steady enough for a daily habit.

It is not a deep prayer book or a substitute for a missal or the Liturgy of the Hours. The collection is focused rather than exhaustive, and it leans devotional, so do not expect Mass readings or a liturgical calendar.

It is free, made by Little Goodness Prayer World. You can find it on the App Store: Santo Catholic App. A clean, prayer-first app that does one thing and does it without fuss.
